Role Responsibilities
As a Special Needs Educational Assistant, your primary focus will be to support SEN students in their learning journey. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting SEN students in their educational and developmental activities.
- Implementing tailored individual education plans (IEPs) effectively.
- Offering personalized support to both individuals and small groups.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure the needs of SEN students are met.
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
Essential Qualifications
- A genuine passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students.
- A patient, empathetic, and supportive demeanor to address students' emotional and educational requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar capacity or with SEN students is beneficial.
- A strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
