Role Responsibilities

As a Special Needs Educational Assistant, your primary focus will be to support SEN students in their learning journey. Your key duties will include:

  • Assisting SEN students in their educational and developmental activities.
  • Implementing tailored individual education plans (IEPs) effectively.
  • Offering personalized support to both individuals and small groups.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure the needs of SEN students are met.
  • Creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.

Essential Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students.
  • A patient, empathetic, and supportive demeanor to address students' emotional and educational requirements.
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity or with SEN students is beneficial.
  • A strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
