Credit Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Collections Specialist to join our Operational Finance team at Kocho. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the debtors' ledgers for all entities within the Group, ensuring prompt payment of all invoices and early identification of any issues.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage and maintain the debtors' ledgers across all legal entities to ensure prompt payment and early identification of any billing issues or queries.
- Manage collections in-line with weekly cash collection targets and support the Head of Financial Operations with accurate weekly cash collections forecasting.
- Respond promptly to all client queries and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
- Reduce average trade debtor days and maintain strong controls and disciplines over trade debtors.
- Prepare for and run the weekly Aged Debtor Review meetings and circulate actions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Operational Finance team and the Sales/Ops teams to maximise business effectiveness.
- Suggest areas for improvement from a processes and systems perspective.
- Support and deputise for the Accounts payable/receivable teams when required.
- Perform bank reconciliations, payment runs, salesforce billing, and credit control of one of the company's subsidiaries under guidance from the Management accounts team.
- Ad-hoc reports and analysis and wider team assistance when required.
- Must be a personable, team player who is enthusiastic and keen to learn.
