About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Search. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, driving sales growth, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, informing sales strategies and business development initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our sales team to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in a business development or account management role.
  • Strong IT skills and adaptability to working with industry software and business management packages.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Confident telephone manner and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £30,000.
  • Full-time hours of 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between 8am and 10am.
  • After 3-month probation period, the opportunity to trial a 4-day working week, with a 30-hour workweek and full pay.
