Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to all pertinent information security regulations, legal standards, contractual commitments, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's security measures, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring timely completion of audits to a high standard.
• Document and communicate audit results and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist the Information Security Compliance Officer with projects and proposals from a security compliance and assurance perspective.
• Monitor changes in regulations to maintain compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with InfoSec colleagues and technical teams to implement and enhance the ongoing security compliance framework across the organization.
• Regularly review customer contractual security requirements and identify any areas of non-compliance.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure that supplier audits are conducted effectively.

Technical Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of the Telecommunications, Media, or Energy sectors is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in information security compliance.
• Familiarity with the Telecoms Security Act and related legislation, as well as the Electronic Communications (Security Measures) Regulations.
• Understanding of the Smart Energy Code (SEC) obligations is advantageous.
• Strong grasp of Risk Management principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
• Experience in performing audits.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or ISO27001 Lead Auditor/Implementor are beneficial.
• Ability to convey Information Security and IT risk concepts in business-friendly language.
