Job Title: Regional Director - Security Operations Manager

Location: National Coverage - with UK travel

Hours per week: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Regional Director to join our team at OCS. As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading our Security Operations team in the UK and Ireland, driving business growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in security operations, with experience in managing multi-value contracts, leading large teams, and developing business growth strategies. You will be a strategic thinker, with excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Lead the Security Operations team in the UK and Ireland, driving business growth and delivering high-quality services to clients.
• Develop and implement business growth strategies, identifying new opportunities and developing plans to achieve them.
• Manage and develop a team of Security Operations Managers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address them.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

• Valid SIA licence essential
• A Health and Safety qualification – NEBOSH/IOSH (desirable)
• A formal change management qualification (desirable)
• Experience of managing multi-value contracts at a regional or national level for at least 3 years
• Experience of managing and directing large and disparate teams.
• Significant experience working in security operational guarding.
• Extensive experience of operating multiple ranging scale contracts on a regional level.
• Experience within Manned Guarding Security operations across multiple locations.
• Evidence of consistently motivating and managing teams
• Experience in sales and supporting bid processes is essential
• Proven client relationship and operational management of key accounts essential
• Strong understanding and evidence of implementing best practice in health and safety and risk assessments.
• Good commercial and financial acumen.
• Demonstrable track record of working with a range of clients in different fields.
• Strong understanding of key security legislative requirements including but not exclusive to licensing, vetting and BS7858.
• Strong management skills with ability to form relationships.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with good time management and leadership skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Abilities (oral & written)
• Ability to demonstrate strong personal integrity.
• Excellent IT skills (Excel, Outlook/Calendar, Word etc.) is essential.
