- Create a pipeline of opportunities for the sales team to investigate.
- Attend regular client review meetings and take operational lead as required.
- Network and build relationships within the London network.
- Be an escalation point for Regional Operations Managers.
- Manage performance against P&Ls for each manager's significant contracts.
- Support debt management and recovery against significant contracts.
- Provide senior leadership on contract delivery and client interaction.
- Ensure all company assets and equipment are accounted for and managed correctly.
- Attend bid presentations as required.
- Ensure a strong relationship between the ROM team and control room.
- Provide out-of-hours escalation support and ensure a Duty Manager on call system is in place.
- Understand the use of sub-contractors and create plans to minimize their use.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Valid SIA license essential.
- Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH) desirable.
- Formal change management qualification desirable.
- Experience managing multi-value contracts at a regional or national level for at least 3 years.
- Experience managing and directing large and disparate teams.
- Significant experience working in security operational guarding.
- Extensive experience operating multiple-scale contracts on a regional level.
- Experience within Manned Guarding Security operations across multiple locations.
- Evidence of consistently motivating and managing teams.
- Experience in sales and supporting bid processes essential.
- Proven client relationship and operational management of key accounts essential.
- Strong understanding and evidence of implementing best practice in health and safety and risk assessments.
- Good commercial and financial acumen.
- Demonstrable track record of working with a range of clients in different fields.
- Strong understanding of key security legislative requirements.
- Strong management skills with ability to form relationships.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with good time management and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities (oral & written).
- Ability to demonstrate strong personal integrity.
- Excellent IT skills (Excel, Outlook/Calendar, Word etc.) essential.
