Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to provide a specialist psychology service to children and young people who are undergoing an assessment for a Cochlear Implant or have already had their surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a specialist psychology service to patients and their families, including risk assessment and risk management.
- Skilfully communicate information concerning assessment, formulation, and intervention with patients and their families, as well as with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Develop psychologically informed care plans.
Essential Qualifications:
- DClinPsych or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience in working in the field of disability/health issues.
- Commitment to diversity and equality.
- British Sign Language level 1 or willingness to learn.
