Job Description

Medacs is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Southampton.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide a specialist psychology service to children and young people who are undergoing assessment for a Cochlear Implant or have already had their surgery.

You will be involved in psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy, as well as consultation and advice on patient care to the wider multi-disciplinary team.

This role offers opportunities for individual work, group work, and work with the wider system, as well as teaching and research opportunities.

You will be a valued member of our team and have opportunities to shape the Clinical Psychology Service we provide.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a strong background in disability and health issues, and a commitment to diversity and equality.

Key qualifications include a DClinPsych or equivalent, membership of a relevant professional body, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
