Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Residential Construction team as a key member. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies to expand our presence in the residential construction market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase market share and revenue in the residential construction sector.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  5. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  6. Manage and analyze sales performance data to inform business decisions and optimize sales processes.
Requirements
  1. Science, Engineering, or Construction-based degree (subject to experience).
  2. Membership of or strong network within relevant residential construction associations.
  3. Clear understanding of residential construction legislation related to Construction Materials.
  4. Understanding of the differences/requirements of single-family and multifamily occupancy.
  5. Understanding of the different requirements of traditional housebuilding vs timber frame vs panelized, including Modular Building and Passivhaus, with a view to creating a competitive edge.
  6. Understand the housing stock retrofit market, including legislation such as PAS 2035.
  7. Understand the social housing strategy and be able to create a narrative on how Sika AG can support.
