We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Residential Construction team as a Head of Technical Compliance. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow our Residential Construction business, focusing on technical compliance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager, Residential Construction, and the Head of Sales for our Building Finishing team to drive business growth and development.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their construction projects.
- Work closely with a strong technical team to develop and implement innovative solutions for the residential construction market.
- Drive our sustainability approach, ensuring we are seen as the market leader for energy efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Science, Engineering, or Construction-based degree (subject to experience).
- Membership of or strong network within relevant residential construction associations.
- Clear understanding of residential construction legislation related to Construction Materials.
- Understanding of the differences/requirements of single-family and multifamily occupancy.
- Understanding of the different requirements of traditional housebuilding vs timber frame vs panelised, including Modular Building and Passivhaus, with a view to creating a competitive edge.
- Understand the housing stock retrofit market, including legislation such as PAS 2035.
- Understand the social housing strategy and be able to create a narrative on how Sika can support.
