Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Therapy Assistant to join our Women's and Men's Health Physiotherapy team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist area and support women with pelvic health conditions during pregnancy and the post-partum period.
Main Duties- Work as an integral member of the Women's and Men's Health Physiotherapy team to plan and provide programmes of therapeutic activity for patients.
- Assist in the provision of care to patients, supported and supervised by a physiotherapist.
- Deliver antenatal and post-natal education groups in both face-to-face and online settings.
- Work under indirect supervision to independently give pre-defined advice to women in the maternity setting.
- After training, be responsible for the initial assessment of post-natal patients for specific conditions.
- Maintain clinical records in line with Trust and professional standards.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within relevant multidisciplinary teams.
