We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Support Manager to join our team at Michael Taylor Search & Selection. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in supporting the pre-contract tender process and ensuring the successful delivery of bids.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and Coordinate Bid Process

Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end bid process, including opportunity and bid deliverable identification, qualification, and proposal submission.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Day-to-day coordination and collaboration with various teams and departments, including Estimating, Commercial, Legal, Digital Engineering, HSEQ, Planning, ESG, Design, and Operations, to ensure all aspects of a bid are addressed and responded to on time and in the required format.

Manage Bid Resources and Timelines

Manage bid resources and timelines to ensure on-time and high-quality proposal submissions.

Develop Compelling Bid Content

Develop compelling and persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, and technical responses.

Coordinate with Legal and Compliance Teams

Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure bid proposals meet all legal, regulatory, and proposed contractual requirements.

Conduct Post-Bid Analysis

Conduct post-bid analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas of improvement and implement lessons learned for future bids.

Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends

Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and emerging best practices in bid management.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the pre-contract tender process.
  • Ideally have a mechanical engineering or project management (mechanically biased) background and looking to step into a senior role.
