Job Summary:
The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's team in the Baglan area. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of packaging machinery and contributing to the company's manufacturing excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain packaging machinery to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Run the roll pack bundler machine and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
- Change polyethylene reels and materials as required, and feed the machine with skillets or cases.
- Operate the log saw when necessary, and stop and restart machines as needed.
- Verify product compliance with data sheets and draft production control documents.
- Perform small maintenance activities and adjustments to maintain equipment efficiency.
- Manage machinery changeovers and support colleagues as needed.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the working area and adhere to health and safety rules.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or operator role, preferably in a heavy industry setting.
- Motivation and commitment to progress in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and operation.
