Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Packaging Machine Operator to join our client's team in the Baglan area. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating packaging machinery, ensuring compliance with working instructions and safety guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate packaging machine and run the roll pack bundler machine
  • Change polyethylene reels and their optional materials or feed the machine with skillets or cases
  • Stop and restart machines when needed
  • Check compliance between product and related data sheet
  • Draft data sheet regarding production control
  • Perform small maintenance activities and adjustments
  • Manage machinery change over
  • Support colleagues in case of need and overview end line process when required
  • Maintain high level of housekeeping of working area throughout the shift
  • Ensure health & safety rules are adhered to

Requirements:

Candidates must have previous experience within a production role/operator role and ideally come from a heavy industry background. DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment, and the company offers a NO conviction policy. A valid driving license is desirable due to the location.
