Specialty Doctor Emergency Medicine Position

The NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor to join our Emergency Medicine team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in emergency medicine, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency services.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Trust and national guidelines.
- Engage in teaching and training activities, supporting the development of junior medical staff and contributing to the education of medical students.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent medical qualification.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate training in emergency medicine or a recognized equivalent.
- Excellent clinical skills, including ALS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads, with a flexible approach to working hours.
