Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineering Apprentice to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, installation work on machinery, and working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Install and maintain machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform general welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Conduct basic electrical fault finding and repair.
  • Operate oxygen/acetylene burning equipment.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained or time-served experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Previous heavy industrial work experience.
  • Slitting and decoling machinery experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic electrical qualifications.
  • Valid driving license.
