Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Wage: £12.50 per hour plus service charge

Position Overview: We are in search of a proactive and committed Assistant General Manager to become part of our team. The perfect candidate will possess a fervor for the hospitality sector, exemplary leadership capabilities, and a steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. In the role of Assistant General Manager, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to guarantee the seamless functioning of the restaurant, uphold superior standards of food quality and service, and cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant.
  2. Oversee and mentor staff to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
  3. Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and professional development.
  4. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
  5. Track inventory levels and liaise with suppliers for procurement.
  6. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  7. Participate in marketing and promotional initiatives to boost the restaurant's visibility and attract new clientele.
  8. Assist in financial oversight, including budgeting, cost management, and reporting alongside the GM.
Requirements:
  1. Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the hospitality sector.
  2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  3. Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  4. Capability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  5. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  6. Familiarity with Italian cuisine and culture is advantageous.
