About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
  • Lead a team of colleagues, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Monitor and maintain store standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, including sales, customer service, and logistics, to achieve business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
