Key Responsibilities
As a Bank Nurse in secure healthcare, you will encounter diverse challenges and have access to numerous training and development opportunities. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary care, mental health, and substance misuse services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting nurse-led clinics
- Administering medications and treatments
- Responding to emergencies
- Performing triage and wound care
- Carrying out examinations and referrals

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Registered Nurse Level 1 - Adult/General/Mental Health
- Awareness of current healthcare issues
- Understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and quality standards
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience in appraisal and clinical supervision
- Willingness to undertake training for proficiency in SystemOne
Desirable:
- Experience in mentorship, teaching, or assessing
- Familiarity with local and national healthcare documents and their implications
- Experience in a secure environment
- Experience in health needs assessment and triage
- Experience in chronic disease management and minor injuries
- Relevant continuing professional development
