Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Talent Management Coordinator who embodies the collaborative spirit, commitment to excellence, and enthusiasm for exceptional filmmaking that characterizes Industrial Light & Magic.
The Lead Talent Management Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the Talent Management team to ensure that Artists, Production teams, Editorial, and Art departments enjoy a fulfilling experience at ILM. This position is also tasked with fostering seamless workflows and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency within the Talent team, collaborating closely with Talent Coordinators to maintain uniformity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate cross-departmental initiatives from a Talent perspective to optimize studio efficiencies.
- Guide and mentor fellow Talent Coordinators to promote best practices.
- Provide comprehensive employee-related assistance to Artists, Production teams, Editorial, and Art departments, including support for leave, seating arrangements, timecards, onboarding, and general inquiries.
- Assist in capacity planning and contribute to capacity solutions, while updating and managing crewing and capacity tools and databases.
- Collaborate with Talent Managers and Talent Coordinators to establish best practices between studio capacity and Talent management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at various levels of seniority.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and execute multiple projects within set deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintains a positive demeanor and remains composed and professional in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
- Capable of working independently and self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving abilities; knowledge of VFX is a plus.
Work Arrangement: This role is Hybrid, requiring the employee to work a minimum of 2 days on-site per week at a designated location, with the possibility of occasional remote work.
