Monopoly GO is our latest casual gaming venture and a pivotal franchise that has rapidly gained popularity among millions of players. Our team operates across Europe and the US, striving daily to craft engaging new experiences for our audience.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Senior Art Director to ensure all creative outputs align with the game’s vision and maintain exceptional quality standards. Enhance the brand through innovative designs and distinctive experiences. Facilitate creative brainstorming sessions, encouraging artists to explore and propose creative solutions. Provide clear artistic direction for various features and content by collaborating with diverse art disciplines to achieve outstanding results. Foster an art culture that attracts talent, maximizes team potential, and promotes proactive collaboration across disciplines to enhance player experiences. Oversee Art Manager duties, including performance evaluations and goal setting for the art team. Contribute to strategic planning at the studio level for the product team. Partner with the art producer to streamline the art team’s production workflow. Ensure the well-being of the art team, focusing on morale, training, and resource allocation. Identify areas for improvement and inconsistencies within the creative workflow. Lead communication across departments regarding art and support all external art requirements. Infuse innovative vision and creativity while adhering to a coherent design approach.

Qualifications

Facilitate collaboration among various art disciplines, including 2D, UI, 3D, Animation, and VFX. Proven experience managing a large team of artists. Experience in shipping and supporting at least one title in a leadership role. Background in developing social games on mobile platforms, particularly in the casual gaming space. Artistic style that reflects a strong understanding of whimsical design. Expertise in providing clear guidance and mentorship tailored to the skill levels of team members across all art disciplines. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to apply expert judgment on form, perspective, color, style, composition, and movement. Demonstrated flexibility, motivation, and approachability. Comprehensive understanding of how game art and visual design enhance gameplay, user experience, narrative, and brand positioning. Familiarity with game development pipelines and their constraints. Capable of communicating and promoting the artistic vision throughout the studio while providing constructive feedback to management and stakeholders. 7+ years of experience in an Art Lead or Associate Art Director role.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with intellectual properties. Knowledge of Unity development.
