We are seeking an experienced Shop Manager to lead our Harrogate store and drive sales, foster community connections, and ensure the shop thrives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working towards sales targets, building strong relationships with customers and volunteers, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the store.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales and maximize profits through effective merchandising, pricing, and customer engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, volunteers, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive store environment
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of the store
- Manage stock levels, maintain accurate records, and adhere to retail standards
- Prioritize the safety of team members and customers, following all health and safety protocols
We are looking for a motivated and experienced retail professional with a proven track record of driving sales and exceeding targets. You will have excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and volunteers. Your great organizational skills and attention to detail will guarantee smooth operations, while your commitment to upholding high standards of health and safety underscores your reliability and professionalism.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience- Retail management experience with a proven track record of driving sales and exceeding targets
- Commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills and a basic understanding of finance
- Good people management skills and excellent customer service skills
