Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. As a Primary SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a small group and one-to-one setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) in a small group and one-to-one setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide specialized further training and on-the-job learning to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Support other children within the classroom as needed
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with children with SEN
  • Understanding of the needs of children with EHCPs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
  • A competitive daily rate of £90-£100
  • Paid weekly on a PAYE basis
  • A one-year contract, full-time, term-time only
