Job Overview

Position: Trade Credit Account Manager

Compensation: Up to £75,000 + performance bonuses and additional benefits

Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is representing a well-established and dynamic Lloyd's Broker known for its strong presence in the London Market. As a Trade Credit Account Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Credit Risks Team, located in a central business district.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee an existing portfolio of mid to large Trade Credit clients, engaging in a client-facing role. While the focus is on servicing, there is an opportunity to earn substantial bonuses for fostering new client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations and growth of an established portfolio of Trade Credit clients, ensuring exceptional service and timely responses to inquiries to maintain a high renewal retention rate.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, senior management, and the broader company network.
  • Support the team in the administration and management of both current and prospective clients.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with clients and market participants, attending meetings as required.
  • Negotiate terms with Underwriters on behalf of clients.
  • Seek referrals and new business opportunities for colleagues within the organization.
  • Stay informed about market trends and enhance knowledge of competitors and their activities.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance sector, specifically within a Credit Insurance capacity (broker experience preferred, insurer experience considered).
  • Strong relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills and market engagement.
  • Proficient negotiation capabilities.
