About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Controller - Patient Transport Coordinator. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of patients across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Management: Coordinate the dispatch of operational crews to ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery of patients between destinations, achieving contractual targets.
  • Communication and Liaison: Receive and respond to requests for patient transport, queries regarding ambulance journeys, and ensure compliance with relevant service procedures and standing orders.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform general clerical tasks, including data input, completing forms and invoices as necessary, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Performance and Quality: Monitor and enhance the performance and quality of service offered to patients and customers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly and professionally to telephone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
Requirements
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, gained from experience of dealing with customers or members of the public.
  • Problem-Solving and Initiative: Ability to work on your own initiative, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
