Job Summary

Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a rapidly expanding private equity-backed financial services company to find a seasoned Finance Director. This is a pivotal role that will play a crucial part in supporting the executive team with strategic decisions and driving the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee finance and operations, implementing necessary controls, processes, and procedures to professionalize the business.
  • Drive efforts to enhance reporting, controllership, and data management, ensuring accurate and insightful management information is available to inform strategic and business decisions.
  • Manage financial covenants, ensuring compliance with all debt agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Take the lead in structuring and negotiating financial transactions, optimizing the business's capital structure to support its ambitious growth plans.

Requirements

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), ideally Chartered.
  • Experience as a Divisional Finance Director, Head of Finance, or Financial Controller with hands-on experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Previous experience in a PE-backed or leveraged environment is desirable, but not essential.
  • A background within a regulated business, preferably a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) business.
