Insurance Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our successful commercial broking team at Stride Resource Management Ltd.
Job Role:- Manage new business enquiries and client renewals, including the re-marketing of policies and issuing renewal documentation within FCA-set time scales.
- Handle incoming client queries, advising on policy coverage and/or changes to their cover.
- Develop relationships with key insurer markets.
- Collaborate with the field sales team and wider team to provide a broking service and assist in client report preparation.
- Cross-sell and up-sell to existing clients by identifying potential gaps in cover or policies held elsewhere.
- Contribute to the team's revenue goals, both for renewal retention and new business.
- Act with integrity.
- Exercise due care, skill, and diligence.
- Be open and cooperative with regulators.
- Treat customers fairly and observe proper market conduct.
- Deliver good outcomes for retail customers.
- Implement and comply with policies and procedures, including financial regulations, data protection, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and manage risk within the scope of the post, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to manage risk.
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Represent the organisation positively and uphold its values and standards.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested.
- Achievement of objectives, KPIs, and targets.
- Completion of mandatory training and CPD.
- Feedback from customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Demonstration and evidence of our values and behaviours.
- Commercial Account Handling experience within an insurance environment.
- Commercial insurance multi-class product knowledge.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer service and sales-focused.
- Acturis experience is not essential, but willingness to work towards Cert CII is required.
