Position Summary: We are currently in search of a Financial Services Administration Supervisor to lead our Administration team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our back-office functions and fostering effective communication among Advisers, Paraplanners, and Administrative personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Administration teams, providing guidance and motivation to achieve set objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding processes, along with conducting performance evaluations in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Utilize a Diary Management System to efficiently allocate and monitor incoming tasks across the Administration teams.
  • Collaborate with advisors throughout the advisory process, assisting in the preparation of portfolio and fund analysis reports for client meetings.
  • Engage with product providers to gather information on existing and prospective investments, including coordinating training on new offerings.
  • Support the compliance officer in maintaining adherence to regulatory standards within the financial services department.
  • Assist directors with project initiatives aimed at enhancing business operations.

Candidate Profile: We are looking for an individual with prior Management or Team Leadership experience within the Financial Services sector, preferably in an Independent Financial Advisory context. A proven history of team management and development is essential.

Qualifications: A solid understanding of the Financial Advice sales process, business submission protocols, and the commissions and fee payment structure is required. Familiarity with Intelligent Office and experience with systems migrations or upgrades would be advantageous. Additional Financial Services qualifications, such as a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, are also beneficial.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive salary along with a performance-based bonus at the conclusion of the contract, with potential for extension or permanent placement.
