Mechanical Calculations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Calculations Engineer to join our team at EPR-E, a subsidiary of Edvance. As an integral member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the pipe network design and its supporting structures.
Your primary responsibility will be to perform detailed piping calculations and assess HVAC and electrical supports for various load scenarios, including dead weight, thermal expansion, and seismic activity. Expertise in finite element analysis software is essential, and knowledge of Python programming is advantageous for developing specialized tools.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed piping calculations and assess HVAC and electrical supports.
- Ensure the integrity of the pipe network design and its supporting structures.
- Develop and implement finite element analysis models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory compliance related to mechanical engineering.
- Outstanding communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical concepts, including modal and static analysis.
- Proficiency in mechanical simulations, particularly using finite element methods.
- Programming proficiency, especially in Python, for developing computational tools.
- Experience with CAD software for design and modeling.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance related to mechanical engineering.
