Key Responsibilities:- Support the Team Manager in decision-making, chairing meetings, and working in partnership with multi-agencies to advocate for young people's needs.
- Develop and implement positive long-term change and improvements, promoting stable placements and effective pathway planning.
- Support the recruitment, induction, training, and supervision of team members, championing professional career development.
- Act as a Practice Educator, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
- Proven experience as a Deputy Team Manager in Safeguarding/Permanence, with a strong understanding of young people's journeys through the care system.
- Confidence in applying legal proceedings and frameworks, with a robust understanding of safeguarding and permanence principles.
- Ability to work in a high-performance culture, promoting consistent good practice across the team.
This is a limited status role, paying £44 per hour. The initial 3-4 week induction and training period will be full-time on-site, followed by at least 3 varied days per week on-site. We require the successful candidate to be available to start within the next 3 weeks and to live locally.
