Ideal Candidate:

The successful applicant will possess a solid background in site management, particularly in traditional build projects. We are looking for a motivated individual eager to advance their career within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the second-in-command to the Site Manager.
  • Depending on your expertise, you may focus on either external or internal construction packages.
  • Assist with staff inductions and conduct toolbox talks.
  • Ensure compliance with company schedules and maintain a strong customer care focus.
  • Oversee programming and scheduling of tasks.
  • Monitor subcontractors and trades to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Report unresolved issues to the Site Manager promptly.
  • Coordinate all trades, labor, and subcontractors effectively.
  • Facilitate NHBC stage inspections.
  • Manage snagging and re-snagging processes.
  • Provide clear guidance to the on-site construction team regarding their roles and targets.
  • Ensure the project meets specifications and adheres to the build schedule.
  • Promote quality assurance throughout the construction phases.
  • Uphold health and safety standards rigorously.
  • Take initiative for personal and team development.
  • Ensure all remedial work is completed before occupancy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Assistant Site Management on traditional housing projects.
  • Familiarity with housing associations is a plus.
  • A trade background with supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Willingness to embrace additional responsibilities and training opportunities.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • First Aid certification.
