Job Title: Senior Planning Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Consultant to join our team at Norse Consulting. As a Senior Planning Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert planning and development advice to our clients, working closely with our multi-disciplined teams to deliver high-profile commissions across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective planning and development advice to clients, identifying opportunities and constraints to maximize development potential.
  • Prepare and promote planning and development schemes, submitting applications and negotiating with stakeholders as necessary.
  • Undertake development appraisals, planning briefs, and masterplans to deliver best value to our clients.
  • Assist in the identification and realization of new business opportunities, focusing on planning services.
  • Contribute to the achievement of business plan objectives and targets, with a focus on fee-earning and business growth.
Requirements:
  • Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Significant relevant experience, with at least 5 years post-qualification.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction, health, and safety legislation and risks.
  • Current CSCS site card or willingness to attain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full UK driving license.
