Telecoms Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Telecoms Project Coordinator to join our team at Inside Avenue Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will provide project support and coordination duties associated with the objectives and tasks of the Project Management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in scheduling engineers in line with project SLAs and collaborate with the Project Coordinator Lead, Project Manager, Engineering Team Leads, and Resource Coordinators.
  • Arrange site access and permits as required by the project(s) and in conjunction with the project schedule.
  • Manage materials and track tools and test equipment between field staff, updating relevant systems.
  • Communicate with engineers and audit project documentation, arranging field quality audits as necessary.
  • Report internally and to customers, as relevant by project(s).
  • Create and maintain project-specific documentation, including project definition documents, trackers, installation completion documentation, audit documentation, field work packs, and RAMS.
  • Elevate engineering issues to the Project Manager as required.
  • Represent the company in customer meetings and on customer conference calls.
  • Provide financial and commercial support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the Telecoms industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent PC and Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Office 365, and SharePoint.
  • Strong telephone manner and experience dealing with difficult parties.
  • Good geographic knowledge of the UK.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work logically.
