Nxtgen Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation in Norwich to find a skilled Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing team.

About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to deliver month-end management accounts for specific business units, providing valuable insights to senior leadership on performance versus plan.

You will play a key role in the delivery of all budgets and forecasting responsibilities, ensuring teams within the organisation achieve their financial objectives.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across various departments, reviewing Capex projects to maximise ROI and add value to the organisation's commercial operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver month-end Management Accounts for multiple business units, reporting on year-on-year variances
  • Budget control for business units, working with senior stakeholders to provide insight on performance versus plan
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, highlighting these to the Finance Manager
  • Support with medium and longer-term financial planning
  • Review and maintain the integrity of the general ledgers for each business unit
Requirements

The successful candidate will be a finalist or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) with a background in management accounts and experience reviewing large volumes of data in Excel.

Experience using financial models is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be confident communicating with senior management and presenting current financial performance versus actuals.
