Contribute to driving commercial success and enhancing processes within a newly formed organization.In the role of National Account Executive for Booker, you will assist the Senior National Account Manager in promoting our brands throughout the UK via key customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the Booker account, fostering mutually beneficial relationships that enhance our brands and satisfy customer needs.
• Achieve budgeted Volume, £NSV, £GP, and distribution objectives with Booker.
• Formulate and oversee essential business processes, including weekly and monthly performance updates, demand forecasting, and annual planning to establish budgets for Booker.
• Develop comprehensive business plans for investment in secondary space and activation.
• Play a significant role in shaping strategies for both immediate and longer-term objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial Marketing to implement brand strategies effectively in the market.
• Work in partnership with other departments such as Finance and Operations to ensure optimal delivery against agreed KPIs and targets.
• Cultivate positive, mutually beneficial business relationships with customers.
• Prepare and present proposals to customers, ensuring alignment on implementation.
• Manage promotional strategies and work efficiently to launch new product developments and capitalize on key seasonal opportunities with your customer.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 2-3 years of sales or commercial experience in the Off Trade channel.
• Understanding of the complexities within the channel and strategies to enhance commercial performance through direct and indirect customers.
• Experience in a commercial role within FMCG, with a proven track record of working with similar customer types.
Essential Skills and Attributes
• Strong forecasting abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and the capability to communicate category insights to develop compelling, mutually beneficial growth strategies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen eye for new opportunities.
