Inventory Control Specialist

We are looking for a dependable and committed Inventory Control Specialist to become a part of our team at our maintenance facility. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining effective inventory management in accordance with aviation maintenance regulations. Your duties will encompass overseeing our internal parts counter, accurately recording stock transactions, ensuring minimum stock levels are upheld, and promoting effective communication with engineers at our facility and throughout our network.

We operate a fully certified repair station and have strategically positioned mobile service units that cater to a wide array of capabilities across various regions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and prioritize the intake of all incoming goods.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory and vehicle stock records.
  • Efficiently issue stock and tools as required.
  • Monitor and mitigate shortages of consumable stock.
  • Accurately document all stock movements in the inventory system.
  • Initiate and oversee orders from approved suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Ensure timely availability of parts for maintenance operations.
  • Facilitate the movement of parts between facilities and replenish company vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering and planning teams.

About You:

  • Experience in an aircraft maintenance environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possessing a valid UK driving license, you have the flexibility to travel as necessary.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
  • You excel in planning and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient management.
  • Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are outstanding, allowing you to convey information clearly.
  • With a strong sense of diligence and integrity, you consistently demonstrate professionalism.
  • You are self-motivated and capable of working independently without supervision, maintaining a positive attitude and employing problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Collaboration is second nature to you, and you communicate well as part of a team.
  • You are adaptable and can respond positively to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Your attention to detail is exceptional, ensuring tasks are completed accurately.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
