Compensation: Competitive salary offered
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of expert engineers specializing in fire safety and explosion risk assessments to support the development of DSEAR and nuclear fire safety case evaluations.
- Oversee and guide the analytical processes and methodologies for technical documentation and reports.
- Ensure governance and leadership over analytical activities.
- Establish a formal reporting structure for analysis work streams.
- Serve as a primary contact for significant engineering stakeholders.
- Direct and oversee proposals for external work packages and review related documentation.
- Facilitate relevant workshops and collaborative groups.
- Develop and maintain safety plans and schedules for various projects.
Required Qualifications:
Essential:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent expertise.
- Experience with DSEAR and explosion safety evaluations.
- Proven experience in delivery planning and team management.
Desirable:
- Experience in fire risk assessment and safety case documentation.
- Familiarity with policy and procedural documentation.
- Knowledge of site fire safety case requirements.
- Experience with COMAH assessments.
