Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical fire safety management advice to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Review and update Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and DSEAR action plans
  • Prepare FRAs for refurbishment projects and new buildings, ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Coordinate the implementation of control measures and track progress to ensure safety during assessments conducted by third-party specialists
  • Conduct investigations to determine root causes of incidents and provide solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and regulations, acting as the primary contact for petroleum licensing activities

Requirements:

  • Professional certifications in Fire Risk Assessment, including NEBOSH Fire Certificate and NEBOSH General Certificate
  • ABBE Level 3 certificate in Fire Risk Management, with a background in Fire Safety Management
  • Experience in DSEAR/ATEX Risk Assessments and conducting Fire Risk Assessments and inspections
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation and regulations, along with experience in Hazardous Area Classification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
  • A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing business performance and safety
