Service Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Team Leader to join our service department at Orona Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with the Service Manager to assist the service and call out team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and coordinate Service Engineers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Service team to ensure they have the necessary resources and tools to perform their duties.
  • Review and optimize engineer routes to maximize productivity and reduce travel times, fuel costs, and other expenses.
  • Ensure all planned visits are completed on time, including insurance items, and that the service team is adequately resourced to meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate engineers' holidays and ensure that adequate resource is available to manage the company workload, call out rota, and customer expectations.
  • Review and influence engineers' productivity to ensure they are meeting their targets and providing excellent service to customers.
  • Coordinate external and internal training requirements and mentor the team's progression to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Undertake Health and Safety audits and ensure overall compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer technical support as required and identify opportunities for improvement and repair.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience as a Lift Service or Repairs Engineer, with a minimum NVQ 3 qualification or equivalent experience. Experience of managing or coordinating a team would be an advantage, although training will be provided by the Service Management team. A level of IT experience is necessary in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
