At Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine, a premier provider in the marine navigation systems sector, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Supply Chain Strategist. In this essential role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain management, ensuring the seamless availability of our products to support our ambitious growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate closely with our manufacturing partners to oversee the timely scheduling, production, and delivery of inventory.
- Supplier Evaluation: Assess supplier performance and swiftly address any issues to enhance efficiency.
- Supplier Engagement: Foster and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to guarantee prompt deliveries and high-quality products.
- Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for improvement across the supply chain to drive operational excellence.
- Performance Metrics: Manage supply chain operations to meet all key performance indicators, including on-time delivery, product availability, inventory management, and data integrity.
- Risk Mitigation: Implement strategies to minimize supply chain risks and ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, particularly warehouse operations, to ensure efficient scheduling of inbound deliveries and effective management of reverse logistics.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or demand forecasting.
- Strong background in implementing and enhancing S&OP processes.
- Demonstrated success in driving change within supply chain operations.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to inform decision-making.
- Experience in managing supplier performance and adhering to deadlines.
- Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems; experience in system implementation is a plus.
- High energy and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a focus on growth.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a startup mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
