Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the controls stream on Business and IT-led projects, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Support the end-to-end internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) programme, identifying and mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Document key financial processes end-to-end, identifying risks and controls, and creating a suitable matrix to ensure effective risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure effective communication and alignment of business objectives.

Requirements

  • Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and a minimum of 7 years of audit experience, preferably with a focus on controls testing.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting and controls testing, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent Excel skills and the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
