Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustaining Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a Sustaining Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our latest technologies in the manufacturing and test process. You will work collaboratively with other functions to deliver solutions to customer requirements and extend product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Re-designs of legacy products, identifying requirements through to final verification testing.
- Creation of schematic and PCB design, ensuring all original requirements are achieved.
- Reporting technical issues and progress.
- Preparing and submitting technical work for review on obsolescence management.
- Ensuring necessary analysis and development activities are identified and performed.
- Conducting design reviews, including schematic and PCB layout.
Requirements
- MEng/MSc/BEng in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or similar/equivalent discipline.
- Electronic engineering experience.
- High-speed digital circuit design.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with PC motherboard architecture, e.g. microprocessors (64bit), PCI Express, Ethernet, DDR4 Memory.
- Programmable logic devices or FPGA.
- Embedded Software appreciation.
- Experience with Intel or ARM chipsets.
