Job Summary:

New Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Manager to lead our dining services team at Ruddington Manor Care Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hospitality service are provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive hospitality service strategy that meets the needs of our residents.
  • Manage and supervise a team of hospitality assistants to ensure seamless delivery of dining services.
  • Collaborate with the chef to ensure that meals are served in a timely, presentable, and correct manner.
  • Ensure that all training given to staff is adhered to and that records and reports are properly maintained.
  • Manage and allocate duties to ensure a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
  • Coach staff and participate in ongoing development of staff.
  • Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of HACCP procedures and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
