Returns Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled Returns Clerk to join our Operations team at Great Bear. As a key member of the Stock Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and effective processing of all site returns and damages.

• Return Management: Effectively and accurately manage all returns, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
• Customer Claims: Record, investigate, and resolve customer claims, working to tight deadlines.
• Return Processing: Organize and process returns from customers, ensuring accuracy of stock and compliance with customer requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly reports, both internally and to customers, to track return activity and identify trends.
• Inventory Control: Process all returned stock, from receipt to put away, including rework, to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all returns are received at site and processed in line with customer requirements, and advise of any quality issues immediately.

• Expertise: Demonstrate a high level of expertise in a busy and demanding environment.
• Flexibility: Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods.
• Teamwork: Be able to cover other areas of the office teams as needed.
• Time Management: Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage their time effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of return processing.
• Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve customer claims and return-related issues.
• Communication: Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Autostore.
