About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Project Manager to join our team at EA Associates. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing construction site activities, leading teams of directly employed and sub-contract labor, and ensuring the timely and quality delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all site-based construction activity on large-store-format refurbishments.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for workers.
  • Supervise and direct the construction team to ensure that the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the construction work meets the project specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, construction schedules, and budget reports.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses, alongside a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress and any issues that arise.
  • Resolve disputes and conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure that the site is clean and organized, and that all equipment and tools are properly maintained.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure that work is being done according to plans and specifications.
Requirements
  • Either formally qualified with a Degree, NVQ, or HNC in Construction Management and/or a suitable trade background.
  • Previous Site Management experience working for a main contractor with a project scope covering retail projects is essential, specifically within either grocery retailing or high street fashion retailing.
  • Experience working away from home is beneficial, but not essential for candidates who are willing.
