About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Shropshire. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people in our care.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents. This will involve creating a safe and nurturing environment, promoting independence, and encouraging personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to residents, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and preferences
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met and exceeded
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective care team

  • A competitive salary of £11.92 - £12.54 per hour, with additional £30 per sleep-in rate

Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting

  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
