Job Description

Job Title: Technical Resource Coordinator - Waste Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Resource Coordinator to join our team at Thames Water. As a Technical Resource Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Waste Operational Control Centre, ensuring the safe and effective coordination of confined space sewer entries and responding to customer notifications of asset failures that could cause pollution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Responses to Customer Notifications: Receive and coordinate responses to customer notifications regarding above-ground asset failures, escalating where necessary.
  • Ensure Safe Entry for Confined Space Activities: Complete live scenario checks, prior to confirming safe entry for confined space sewer entry activities, thus providing critical support for critical Health & Safety activities.
  • Collaborate with Field and Site Managers: Work closely with Field and Site Managers to resolve customer complaints without direct customer interaction.
  • Shift Pattern: Work a variety of shifts, including day shifts and night shifts, with a minimum of 3 nights on and 7 days off, and 4 nights on and 13 days off.
  • Proactive and Team-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrate a proactive and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently on shifts.
  • Competitive Salary and Benefits: Receive a competitive salary, up from £26,800 to £35,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, as well as a range of benefits, including annual leave, contributory pension, and personal medical assessments.
