Marketing Communications Specialist III

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our marketing operations team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Build and implement marketing content across digital channels, including web, video, social media, paid search, and display advertising.
  • Partner with digital marketing colleagues to optimize performance across digital channels and drive business results.
  • Support the development of the overall content strategy, identifying opportunities for new content formats and channels.
  • Develop sales force selling tools and customer materials in collaboration with product management, R&D, and commercial teams.
  • Work closely with regional marketing development managers to deliver marketing campaigns within their regions and provide ad-hoc support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, market development, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing or marketing communications, with a proven track record of accomplishments.
  • Experience in marketing operations, including budget tracking and processing POs.
  • Outstanding social skills, analytical, project management, and planning skills.
  • Able to work in a highly autonomous manner and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Previous experience driving marketing campaigns with a digital marketing focus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and resolve problems and independently complete tasks with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of key competencies, including value proposition development, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, customer segmentation, and voice of customer.
  • Understanding of analytics metrics and how to use them to advise marketing campaign improvements.
