Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our thriving Sales team. This role will primarily focus on leveraging our marketing tools to secure qualified sales appointments for our broader Sales team. Previous experience in IT channel sales is not a prerequisite; we welcome candidates with sales experience from other sectors who are eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients by generating new leads through research, cold calling, and utilizing platforms like LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and deliver compelling pitches.
- Meet and exceed KPIs related to outbound calls and overall activity.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies using available resources to generate leads and enhance engagement.
- Participate in seminars, technology events, and networking opportunities to expand industry knowledge.
- Accurately maintain and update lead information in our CRM and other relevant systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel, Office, and email communication.
- Comfortable with both cold and warm calling to new and existing accounts.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Strong prospecting skills utilizing various platforms and techniques.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Capable of thriving under pressure.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position is competitive, with a potential maximum of £35,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience. Additionally, we offer an attractive commission structure.
