Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Travis Perkins. As an Area Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service in the South West region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reactivate dormant and low-spending accounts, and identify new business opportunities in your allocated area.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and branch teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with your Regional Sales Manager to set and achieve sales targets, and develop a plan to maximize sales and profit growth.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings with customers to build trust, understand their needs, and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with branch teams to ensure seamless delivery of sales and customer service, and provide support to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in a merchanting or similar industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and branch teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Full UK driving license with over a year's driving experience, and a willingness to travel extensively throughout the South West region.
